"After meeting Ms. Kubinski, I was immediately aware, before even hearing her material, that she was someone special. After listening to her debut CD and hearing her perform live, I will say that, in all of my years in the music business, she is one of the few artists I have heard that I predict will be a household word in a very short time. Her musical and vocal ability are reminiscent of some of the greats, and her songwriting ability shows the depth of a woman twice her age. It is rare to find someone of this caliber, and I strongly suggest getting out to see her, as well as buying her CD, at this stage in her career. In a couple of years, you will be paying top dollar to see her. Get in on the ground floor while you can. She is not to be missed!"

“Her voice is engaging and impressive…live, she uses her voice to add to her confident stage presence, which is stronger and less cutesy than other girls of this genre…”

“Closing the show [at Rockwood Music Hall]was the incredibly professional, engaging and talented Cassandra Kubinski, who chose to play piano for this performance, accompanied by a popular NYC artist, James Adamo, on guitar. The pair featured songs from Kubinski's new “Hold the Sun” CD, as well as cuts from her great "Hiding Underneath" EP. Kubinski has been playing the tristate area for some time now, and her experience in acting for the theatre and on TV (also soon to be in a motion picture), clearly captivated her audience. She offered a variety of moods, from the sultry and spicy rock of “Hiding Underneath” and “She’s Gonna Make You Want Her” to introspective and reflective compositions such as “Cradle the Moon” and “Echoes”. |

My first thought this time is, 'Wow, powerful voice!' But the songs are also really strong...piano talent is impressive...so much emotion in her playing...She has definitely matured into her own artist...This is going in my personal rotation.
Stand out songs: Cradle the Moon, Racecar, Like Only Lovers Can (is a guitar song, and it's really pretty), Twisted (fabulous piano part).
