Like mixing red wine and fire, Cassandra's music is often described as a mixture of Billy Joel and Fiona Apple or any of the bluesy powerhouse divas (Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, etc). Themes often include the ever-popular love, loss, and triumph, but Cassandra chooses to explore the opposites inherent in these themes rather than tackling them in a cliched way. She is currently playing out in NYC primarily at places like the Bitter End and Knitting Factory, and she plays with James Adamo, guitarist extraordinaire.
